Appointment Transportation Volunteer - Omaha - Omaha

Description: Newly arrived refugees have a number of appointments when they first arrive and need assistance with transportation to and from these appointments. These appointments may include such things as medical appointments, job interviews, and grocery shopping.Requirements:Potential volunteers must pass a background screen. Volunteers must also provide a valid driver's license and proof of insurance for a DMV check. This position is looking for volunteers available weekdays on a one-time, occasional, weekly, or monthly basis.An information session will be held every first Thursday of each month to provide more information about the opportunities offered working with the community services program and will provide time to complete application documents to become a volunteer.
