Volunteer Personal Shopper - Omaha

Description: Refugees arrive in the united states with very little possessions. It is your responsibility as the Personal Shopper to purchase items for them before arriving. You can be responsible for purchasing groceries for the newly arriving refugee(s). Or you can be responsible for purchasing other general household items from Family Dollar to help make their new home feel more like home.Requirements:Potential volunteers must pass a background screen. Volunteers must also provide a valid driver's license and proof of insurance for a DMV check. This positions is looking for volunteers available weekdays or evenings on a one-time, occasional, weekly, or monthly basis.An information session will be held every first Thursday of each month to provide more information about the opportunities offered working with the community services program and will provide time to complete application documents to become a volunteer.
